Did you know that physician practices can qualify for $13,000 in funding from the New York State Department of Health, for connecting to Healthix?

They will be providing a check of $2,000  when you sign for this program and $11,000 when you start contributing data to Healthix.

Healthix is a public Health Information Exchange, that electronically collect and consolidate patient health records from +6,000 healthcare providers, and provide clinical information to treating clinicians at the point-of-care.  Healthix can improve health outcomes and quality of care by assisting in better care coordination and the management of chronically ill patients. With Healthix, you can:

  • Look up a patient’s data from other provider visits, viewing past history, encounters, labs and more
  • Prepare for value-based payments by engaging in the electronic communication requirement of New York State Transformation Programs like DSRIP or PCMH
